About Time: The Batmobile Is Coming To Rocket League
As Rocket League has grown in significance, it’s gained a few special car models from outside properties. It has a Delorean now, but what it’s really needed is a Batmobile. Now that’s finally going to happen!
What brought this on? The need for Warner Bros. to create as many media tie-ins for their upcoming Batman V. Superman movie as possible. They need a plug in a popular game, and Rocket League needs a Batmobile. So they partnered together!
Available Tuesday, March 8, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack will put players behind the wheel of the renowned crime-fighting vehicle, which has been faithfully re-created in Rocket League, to mirror Batman’s ride in the upcoming film. In addition to the Batmobile itself, the Car Pack also will include three exclusive Antenna Flags enabling players to show their allegiance to World’s Finest trinity: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
The Dawn of Justice Car Pack, which includes the Batmobile, will cost a measly $2. Be prepared though. The moment this DLC hits, most online matches will be nothing but Batmobiles for the next few weeks. Look for it March 8 on Playstation 4, XBox One and PC.
