Teamwork is the Way to Win in New World of Speed Trailer

One of the mantras of Slightly Mad Studios’ racing MMORPG is that coming in first isn’t everything.

This video, released during this week’s Gamescom conference in Cologne, Germany, shows off this element of the game as clearly as we’ve seen. It features two teams in competition, red and blue, and shows how players can help their teams shift the point balance by successfully pulling off drifts, finding shortcuts, slipstreams, and other driving achievements.

Now I’m hoping that a stable, cooperative community can be built around the game. Lone wolfs wouldn’t cut it in this mode, and would certainly drag down the fun.
