Speed 3: Grand Prix Coming To Switch

Looking for new racing games on Switch? Maybe Speed 3: Grand Prix will suffice?

The game was announced for Nintendo’s platform during Pocket Gamer LaunchPad, a digital event spotlighting upcoming portable games. Published by Lion Castle and developed by GS2 Games, the game is an arcade-style track racer with both single player and split-screen multiplayer modes. No mention of an online mode is made in the press release, and though we appreciate any racing game that keeps it old school by requiring your buddies drop by, we’re not currently living in a time where that’s possible.

Speed 3: Grand Prix challenges players to get on the circuit and become the best driver of all time! Pick your favorite car and make your way towards the first spot in all seasons. Conquer the tracks and take down the competition, as you race through American wastelands, tear up asphalt on the German circuit and drift through the neon-filled streets of Tokyo. Speed 3: Grand Prix delivers an irresistible mix of high-speed track racing with explosive arcade action for Nintendo Switch! It will feature both singleplayer and split-screen multiplayer.

Speed 3: Grand Prix will debut on Switch first, at an unspecified time later in 2020. Versions for Playstation 4 and XBox One will follow in 2021.
