Some PS4 Players Are Playing Driveclub Beta Now

According to chatter in this NeoGAF thread, Sony sent out invites to a closed beta, codenamed “Cupcake,” for Evolution Studios’ upcoming racer Driveclub.

And that’s about all we know, because the players seem to be under a heavy non-disclosure agreement. One NeoGAF member posted a screenshot but took it down, apparently at the direction of Sony because the remaining post says “Ordered to remove.”

But this is good news for people who want to get their hands on the game, because hopefully the limited beta test will be expanded into a more public closed beta or even an open beta.

Driveclub is out Oct. 7 for PS4.
