New Trailer Shows Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell’s Infernal Gameplay

Is Johnny Gat badass enough to take on the legions of Hell? Sure. If you’re a Saint’s Row fan you know that. But can he do it in style? If this new trailer is any indication, looks like it.

The trailer shows off Gat tearing up New Hades and demonstrates some of his new damnation-based weaponry, such as a gun that shoots a locust plague and a rocket firing armchair that represents the deadly sin of sloth. Gat can also fly on demonic/angel wings in this version.

The trailer also shows several of the diversions Gat can get up to in Hell. Just like earlier Saints Row games, the city is packed with an ADHD assortment of distractions that will always keep you busy doing something.

Gat out of hell follows Gat’s quest to save the President/God Emperor from an infernal shotgun wedding and literally shoot Satan in the face. Its new city, New Hades is about half the size of Steelport in Saints Row IV. Gat and hacker Kinzie Kensington are available as playable characters both solo and cooperatively.

“Gat Out of Hell” will be out Jan. 27. for the PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The standalone version for PC and last-gen consoles will cost $19.99. It will be bundled in the PS4 and Xbox One versions, titled Saints Row IV: Re-Elected.
