Lindsay Lohan is Suing Over GTA V

Lindsay Lohan has now filed a suit saying GTA infringed on her likeness.

The suit, filed Wednesday against Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and subsidiary Rockstar Games, claiming that one of the characters in GTA V, Lacey Jonas, is based on her.

The thing is, it obviously is based at least in part on her.  Clubby, anorexic blonde actress/singer tormented by paparazzi? C’mon.

The suit says Lohan’s image, voice and styles from her clothing line are depicted. It says the game features West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel, where Lindsay once lived. I’ll also throw in that Lacey Jonas is feuding with a Poppy Mitchell, obviously a stand-in for Lindsay’s feud with Paris Hilton.

But it’s also an obvious parody, which is usually protected speech. It’ll be interesting to see if this one actually goes anywhere, but don’t count on it.
