Kartrider: Drift Announced For XBox One
In the vast universe of kart racers, the Kartrider series may not be one you’re familiar with, but it started back in 2004 and it’s mega-popular in South Korea. Now it’s coming to XBox — the latest installment, Kartrider: Drift, was announced today during the Inside Xbox presentation at X019.
Kartrider: Drift is a free-to-play cross-platform kart racer that allows for wide customization of its vehicles and characters. The game is separated into three modes: Time Attack, Item Mode, and Speed Mode (which is the multiplayer mode). The game’s content is constantly changing, with a steady feed of updates. Combined with the wide variety of kart characters you’ll meet, no two games will be the same.
Kartrader: Drift isn’t quite ready yet, but there will be a Closed Beta held on December 5. If you’d like to be a part of the beta, sign-ups are open effective immediately. Go to playkartrider.com to throw your hat in the ring. The full game is coming to XBox One in 2020.
