Horizon Chase Turbo Now Physical On PS4 And Switch

Good news, collectors of physical media….Horizon Chase Turbo is enough of a success that a physical version of the game is now out on retail shelves for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. What are the benefits over the digital version?

Well, for one, being able to loan the game to somebody else. For another, being able to play the game on the PS5 and Switch 2 if they turn out to be backwards compatible. Also, remember what happened to the Scott Pilgrim game and the PT demo? ….Yeah.

Horizon Chase Turbo utilizes a deliciously retro aesthetic, rendering the flat 2D look of 16-bit races in full 3D. Long roads with bright grassy sides tapered off by candy-colored bumpers are the rule of the day here. There are campaign, tournament and endurance modes, plenty of things to unlock, chiptune-styled music and, to make things extra-retro, a split-screen multiplayer mode.
