GTA Online Introduces New Adversary Mode, Entourage
GTA Online has a new adversary mode, a VIP match known as Entourage.
In Entourage, one team is tasked with the job of protecting one of their players — this player has ammunition on his person and is wearing armor, but he needs the extra bodyguards because a gang of assassins (the opposing team) is looking for him with the intent to shoot him dead. If Team A can escort the player to the extraction point while keeping him alive, they’ll win the match. If Team B can locate the target and execute him, they win.
One more wrinkle: most of Team A can’t see where the assassins are located; only the client the bodyguards are protecting has the radar to single them out. They’ll have to rely on communication to make it through.
Other updates were made to Cunning Stunts in the form of a track editor. Rockstar has added 27 tracks to the activity since it began, and now that number just ballooned to “infinite.” Anyone will be able to build and share stunt races with the GTA Online Creator.
With these updates come the usual special sales and offers to entice more players to try them. All Entourage matches are offering double GTA$ and and RP through August 11. Tattoos and clothes introduced during the Cunning Stunts updates are now 25% off the normal price.
