GTA Online Introduces “Drop Zone” With Double XP Weekend

This weekend is another chance to earn double XP in GTA Online. Rockstar has introduced a new mode to the game — the Drop Zone, a parachuting game. To whip up interest in the new feature, players can now earn double GTA$ and RP for all Adversary modes, including the new Drop Zone.

Throughout the weekend you can also earn double XP on all car races, and possibly spend them on two new models, the Sultan RS and the Banshee 900R. As for places to put them in, garage properties are 25% off. Plus, it’s only fitting, all parachute gear (including bulletproof helmets) is 50% off through Sunday.

Also look for a new playlist featuring three events. If you complete them all (it doesn’t matter if you win or lose, just complete them) you’ll get a package consisting of sticky bombs, SMG ammo, and grenades. All these special events will only be available through January 31, so clear time this weekend!
