Gran Turismo 7 Announced For Playstation 5
What’s a good reason to own a Playstation 5? How about Gran Turismo 7? Sony held their PS5 press conference stream this morning, and revealed the latest version of their popular racing sim title is now in development. They also showed off quite a bit of it. It looks great!
The trailer was pure gameplay footage, showing off the cars and tracks in real time. But we also got to see the campaign mode, which lets you acquire new cars by winning races. You can then customize the cars at your house, with the aid of an assistant named Sarah. We were also shown a repair shop with several workers, and a sky with shifting clouds implying a fancy weather system.
The last proper, numbered Gran Turismo sequel was Gran Turismo 6 back in 2013, also developed by Polyphony. The last time anything with the GT label on it was sold was when Gran Turismo Sport came out in 2017.
