Gran Turismo 6 Is First Racing Game To Be FIA Certified

The Federation Internationale de L’Automobile [FIA] – the organization responsible for sanctioning Formula One [and other] world automobile racing events – has entered into partnership with Polyphony Digital, the creators of the racing video game Gran Turismo 6, to officially certify four of the existing tracks depicted in the GT6 game, making GT6 the only racing video game to officially be certified by the FIA.

In addition to the certification, FIA and Polyphony Digital will collaborate on an FIA Online Championship in 2015.
