F1 2018’s Second Gameplay Trailer

How many trailers does one game need? Where can they draw the line with F1 2018?

Earlier we told you Codemasters’ F1 2018 will have four videos released showing off the behind-the-scenes work done to the game. What we’re bringing you today isn’t one of them. Instead it’s a gameplay trailer: the second Codemasters has put out.

We’ve already once seen how the game plays, so what does this bring that’s new? It marks the introduction of the new F1 theme music, written by composer Brian Tyler.

“F1 has undergone a huge visual rebrand this year,” boasts art director Stu Campbell. “[F1 2018] has an exciting, fresh new look and we are looking to bring that into the game as much as we can. Our aim this year was to create as big a visual improvement as we possibly could to give a more authentic and realistic experience. When you see it side by side with the 2017 game I think you will see a huge leap forward.”

F1 2018 will be released for Playstation 4, XBox One and PC August 24. Maybe we’ll see about seven other videos before then.
