Driveclub Adding Free Icona Vulcano

If you’re not a gearhead you might be forgiven for thinking that the Driveclub’s next free DLC, the Icona Volcano, is just a fanciful concept car made for the game.

After all, it looks like something that would ferry Buck Rogers around, or maybe a platform for automotive battles in a post-apocalyptic freeway wasteland.

But, not, it’s a real car. And it’s a hybrid. Its combination electric motor/ 6.0-litre V12 let it hit 217 MPH. It can do 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. Oh yeah, and it costs $3.8 million.

But you can try it in Driveclub for free this week, thanks to Evolution Studios. Evolution released the video above to give us a little preview of what we’ll be getting, and we’ll be eagerly trying out this beast.
